Job Description:

• Execution of purchasing strategy based on make-or-strategy
• Supplier performance (quality, delivery reliability and ability, target costs)
• Communicating to the Service department our forecasted purchased parts lead times for outgoing estimates
• Communicating to the Service department our confirmed delivery dates for customer order acknowledgements.
• Daily tracking and expediting of purchased parts assuring we will achieve onetime delivery
• Execution of purchasing strategy for categories of material considering the service department requirements
• Following the guidelines of our framework contracts
• Following our global guidelines and requirements for purchasing processes and methods
• Monitor targets (target cost) for purchasing and develop and execute measures to meet target costs
• Effective communications with logistics team to ensure parts deliveries to our customers
• Work with local quality management team to select outside vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or applicable purchasing experience in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment is required
• CPM certification is a plus
